Saturday 18th December 2004: Cubecinema. Supporting Isan (Morrmusic). The set was played with a mini orchestra: Rachael Dadd on clarinet, George"Headfall" on saxophone, Rory on harp, Victor on casio and Tom Bugs on trombone.

Autumn 2004: Creation and recording of Carmel's short animation film "A Fairy Tale for the rest of us". This 5 minute film produced by Aardman Studios is about love, despair, and beanstalks.

Friday 24th September: Frànçois played support for Gravenhurst (Warp records)and Juana Molina (Domino) at the CubeCinema. Really nice atmosphere. I saw Juana Molina's set and I loved it. It was nice talking in French with her about reasons to keep on playing music when it's already so noisy around. See photos.

Saturday 4th September: Frànçois left the fantastic Bringyourselffest to play a 20 minute piano set at the Folk house for a storytelling and poetry night. Doors: 7.30.

Friday 3rd September 2004: Frànçois took part in the free BringYourSelf Fest Bristol playing at the Here shop (108 Stokes Croft) with Headfall, The Corey-O's and Bucky. The set incorporated some new songs ("Les échafauds brulent", "Back to town"), some songs from the new album ("Morning sale", "Autoroute"), and also some old songs ("Jardins suspendus", "I'm like you") but played in a new way. So it was a different and new set.

Also took part in the electronic music workshop, with Sophia Gradin, Tom"Knowledge of Bugs" and George "Headfall" in the Here shop basement on saturday afternoon.

9 August 2004: Trumpet for I know I have no collar at the Freebutt in London.

28, 29&30 July 2004: Stitch-Stitch Tour

It was the best moment of the summer. Michal Local Kid looked after everything. We did Bristol ( of course...) , London and Brighton, with Lesbo Pig and I Know I Have No Collar. Headfall, My Two Toms, Humusexoual, Sleepingstates and Blue minkees played here and there. I met an old friend in London and I had a swim in Brighton.

17 July 2004: Trumpet for the film "Aelita Queen of Mars" at the Ashton Court Festival. It was sunny, the backstage was pretty distracting, everybody was in a good mood.

15 July 2004: Gig at Bar Unlimited, with Knowledge of Bugs, and Max Milton. Sorry i was annoyed by the feedback and I played mostly guitar songs.

4 July 2004: Gig at the Folk House, supporting Rachael Dadd. The sound was good, it was a new crowd but I was confortable, so was Virpie "Bunnyfield" who played violin and sung in Finnish on "Le Chemin du retour". My voice came out naturally. Probably the best gig so far.

12 June 2004: Trumpet for Crescent, in Bristol, walking around the room on "Fountains". Sunny day, Berg Sans Nipple playing only one song, massive parties in some houses somewhere at night, Mark "Float" playing accordion.

9 June 2004: Radio show, on Dialekt Radio, with Aaron "stitchstitch" and translation live by Nicole. I talked a lot, I played acoustic versions of "Anne-Laure dans la gare", "L'Allure Legere" and "Katrina". Never listened to it since.

4 June 2004: Skateboarding live on stage for Headfall at the Cube. The last trick matched the last drum hit!

28 May 2004: Gig at the Here shop, with Balky Mule and Major Matt Mason. I like playing at the Here shop, all the friends were there, I felt like at home.

3 June 2004: Gig at the Polish Club, with Mice Parade and Line. One of those rushed gigs, no soundcheck, no voice in the monitors...oh well, Mice Parade were polite and said "I liked your set man!..."

1st May 2004: Trumpet for Movietone at the Triptyk festival in Glasgow. Walking around the park and the venue with them, drinking wine backstage with Coleen, going to night clubs with Tracyanne. It was just great.

April 2004: Starting the recording of "Les Anciennes Falaises", making five versions of each song before being satisfied...Drawing hundreds of pictures to make some 2 minute animation films...projecting them at the Bluescreen nights at the Cube Cinema.

mid-March 2004: Serge Gainsbourg night at the Cube Cinema. I played 2 songs with my keyboards and one with Jessie"Morning Star"'s Orchestra. My mum was there too, but she didn't like my voice.

3 March 2004: Gig at the Fleece&Firkin' with Bronze Age Fox.
I had a weird reverb on my guitar, it sounded like a Queen spanish guitar.

25 January 2004: First gig in the U.K. on my own. Bar Unlimited for the first Run-Run night, organised by Aaron and Michal LocalKid. MyloClock & The Pocket played and Cat in Puzzle Boxes too.I finished the set with a Dominique A. cover "Les Hommes entre eux".

31 October 2003: Crescent needed a trumpet player one month after I arrived. So I went to Brighton with them. I was dead nervous, nobody noticed it apparently.
